VOLUNTEERS
NEEDED
Volunteer
Counselors will help supervise a group of
individuals with special needs ages 13 and up.
Counselors need to be 16 years of age or older.
Younger volunteers are welcome to volunteer with
an adult present. Community service hours will be
signed off for.

Trips (Saturday Time Out for Parents) take place
one Saturday a month and are socially, physically,
educationally, and psychologically beneficial
field trips. Space
is limited.
To attend you
must RSVP on the designated reservation day.
Cost
has increased to $3/person with lunch
provided. Please let us know if you
have any financial difficulties.

22, 2009 - A Night in Hollywood: Be a
Star
Themed
dances are held one Friday per month from 7-9pm at
Eastmonte Park.
Refreshments are provided.
Cost
has increased to $2 per participant and $1 per
companion/family member/guest.
Prizes awarded for dance
contest winners, costume contest winners &
birthdays! If you have a group home or a large
party, please call in advance and we will reserve
your group a
table(s). |

"Thursday Night Outs" are held on Thursday
evenings, excluding the 1st Thursday of the month.
They are designed to allow participants to get
together and just have some fun! Events are held
at Westmonte Park from

Every
Monday excluding
holidays
Practice
is held every Monday, excluding holidays, from
3-5pm at the Altamonte AMF Lanes. Cost is
$1.75/game, which includes shoe
rental. Scores are recorded
throughout the year and trophies are awarded at
the Banquet announcing each participant's high
score.

bowling on Memorial Day,

BOWLING
BANQUET Monday,
June 15, 2009 from 6-8pm at Eastmonte Park Civic
Center. Cost: $5.00 per bowler & $5.00 per
guest. This event will be catered. Each paid
bowler will receive a trophy engraved with his or
her high score! (Trophies are donated & may
vary in size & style)
Payment and
Reservations due by Monday, May 11. Checks can be

help enter Bowling Scores into computer
A
volunteer is needed to enter scores into an excel
spreadsheet. Task will take 2-4 hours with some
knowledge of computers necessary. This project
needs to be completed by May 15, 2009. Please
contact Nin to sign up to help.

Starting Soon! Volunteers
Needed!
SWIMMING
SEASON Due
to limited space, swimming registration for
athletes will be on Saturday May 9 at 11am at St.
Mary Magdalen Church - in the Annex. There will be
different locations and practices this season, so
please try to attend this important meeting.
Practices will begin on Saturday May 30 &
Sunday May 31.
Coaches
with swim experience needed! To volunteer, sign up

Olympics Seminole County provides free year-round
sports training and competition in over 12
