STOP Trips (Saturday Time Out for Parents) take place one Saturday a month and are socially, physically, educationally, and psychologically beneficial field trips.  Space is limited.

To attend you must RSVP on the designated reservation day. Cost has increased to $3/person with lunch provided. Please let us know if you have any financial difficulties.

Blue Springs / DeLeon Springs (View the manatees and make pancakes at the old Sugar Mill)
Please RSVP on Friday, January 30 by phone or email.
(We ask that RSVPs begin on January 30 to ensure an equal chance for all participants)

NIGHTBIRD DANCES

Friday, February 13, 2009 - Sweethearts Dance

Themed dances are held one Friday per month from 7-9pm at Eastmonte Park . Refreshments are provided.

Cost has increased to $2 per participant and $1 per companion/family member/guest.

Prizes awarded for dance contest winners, costume contest winners & birthdays! If you have a group home or a large party, please call in advance and we will reserve your group a table(s).

THURSDAY NIGHT OUT

Westmonte Park from 7-8:30pm
"Thursday Night Outs" are held on Thursday evenings, excluding the 1st Thursday of the month. They are designed to allow participants to get together and just have some fun! Events are held at Westmonte Park from 7-8:30pm. Cost: $1.00 with refreshments. Please Click Here for Schedule.

BOWLING

Every Monday excluding holidays

Practice is held every Monday, excluding holidays, from 3-5pm at the Altamonte AMF Lanes. Cost is $1.75/game, which includes shoe rental.
 
Scores are recorded throughout the year and trophies are awarded at the Banquet announcing each participant's high score.

SPECIAL NEEDS BELLY DANCING

Our Special Needs Belly Dancers & family members meet the 4th Wednesday of each month to exercise & prepare for performances at Westmonte Park from 6:30-7:30pm. Cost: $1.00/person.

2009 WINTER CAMP

One month down.. One more to go!
In January, the Winter Campers enjoyed a special visit from Mike Insley with Urban Beautification. The campers got the opportunity to plant and take home their very own Pentas. Following that, Officer Dom Carbonaro and Steven Deloach brought out their motorcycles from the Altamonte Springs Police Department. The campers also traveled to Lake Mary to visit the Fire Station where they each got to shoot the fire hose!
 
In February, the campers are looking forward to many great field trips, including: Wonderworks, a tour of the Channel 6 News Station, fishing at Lake Lotus, and a tour of the Altamonte Springs Water Plant.

Camp is held on Wednesday from 9am-4pm at Eastmonte Park. The last day of camp is on February 25, 2009.
